Well genius, its exactly the opposite of how it sounds. The English version has gotten so twisted from the original which was...Hey! rub-a-dub, ho! rub-a-dub, three maids in a tub,
And who do you think were there?
The butcher, the baker, the candlestick-maker,
And all of them gone to the fair.
The meaning behind all versions were they were at a peep show. If we modernized it some more its a rhyme about three respectable men who are enjoying them self at a strip club.
